Tomorrow, May 3rd, is what would've been James Brown's 77th Birthday. The Godfather of Soul died of a heart attack on Dec. 25, 2006, aged 73 years. James Brown's physician at the time of his death was Dr Conrad Murray. James was known to be addicted to painkillers, and allegedly to PCP (Angel Dust), too. Murray, it is claimed by the New York Post, was a member of a clandestine group of physicians, singularly known as ‘Doctor Feel-Good‘ who worked and provided medications for various high profile celebrities in the 1990’s. JB’s longtime producer and assistant Jacque Hollander claims: “If James Brown wanted drugs, he knew he could get them from these safe doctors in Dallas, Houston, Las Vegas and Los Angeles.” www.digitalcheeseburger.com/2009/08/03/dr-conrad-murray-linked-to-james-brown/

MJ and JB had the same coffin. "The casket, called a Promethean, features a blue velvet interior and a hand-polished, mirror finish. It is made of solid bronze and plated with 14 carat gold." In Greek mythology, Prometheus is a Titan, the son of Iapetus and Themis, and brother to Atlas, Epimetheus and Menoetius. He was a champion of human-kind known for his wily intelligence, who stole fire from Zeus and gave it to mortals. Zeus then punished him for his crime by having him bound to a rock while a great eagle ate his liver every day only to have it grow back to be eaten again the next day. His myth has been treated by a number of ancient sources, in which Prometheus is credited with – or blamed for – playing a pivotal role in the early history of humankind. In tarot he is The Hanged Man. The card of making sacrifices for the greater good. Also... "Finally, rumor also has it that Latoya Jackson picked out the clothes Michael was buried in: two black gloves, black pants beaded with black beads, a pearl-beaded white jacket embossed with cherubs and an oversized gold belt. A single white glove was reportedly placed inside the casket, too." Black gloves Deep voice warning ahead.... "Brown's body was transported to the theatre on a white carriage similar to the one seen at Jackson's Neverland ranch after his death. " (quoted from Here) www.tmz.com/2009/07/01/jackson-burial-cart-before-the-horse/James Brown < Dr Conrad Murray > Michael Jackson www.nationalledger.com/cgi-bin/a ... &num=27244 www.digitalcheeseburger.com/2009 ... mes-brown/ www.michaeljackson.com/hk/node/693551Jackson's 'Last Man Standing' - Gerald Posner interviews Dr Conrad Murraywww.thedailybeast.com/blogs-and- ... pegoat-me/ "I was not certain what to expect before I met him, whether I’d conclude he was shifty or untrustworthy, but instead I was impressed with his apparent sincerity, especially when talking about the effect on his life since the pop star’s death. He admitted it had been “terrible.” He cited an article in People that mentioned how many of his former patients praised his work, and another that ran at nearly the same time that said he had provided prescriptions to the singer James Brown. Of course, the latter received by far the widest coverage. It’s convinced Murray that the press “is mostly interested in bad news and gossip.”" Interesting that I can't seem to find TMZ making the same claim though. There's probably plenty more to add on this..

Belated Happy Birthday, James Brown! My grandpa had lots of books on ancient mythology- that´s why I have a vivid memory of Prometheus. I felt bad for his harsh fate when I heard this story as a child. Still not sure about Doc Murray. Is he a real person - is he not? Is he a doctor? Is he an actor?...

Maybe the doctor that we see in the media is an actor of a real doctor that prescribed Mr. Brown drugs? I´ve seen the picture of an other man who supposed to be the real Doc Murray, it was posted on M&S a while ago. No idea if it was legit or not, the basic principle is at least conceivable...
